Green Construction Sites
“Green” is evolving. The word and color have complex meanings in contemporary culture, many of which shape our perceptions of what is natural, appropriate, and good. I photographed a construction site — one that had been sprayed repeatedly with hydroseed over time — to explore how the concept of “green” is applied, where it sticks, and why it washes away.
